How long does a standard deck restoration take?
Most restorations take between 2 to 4 days. This includes chemical stripping, precision sanding, and applying the oil. Weather and the size of your deck can affect drying times, but we will give you an exact timeline during your free site inspection.
Do you use paint, stain, or oil on the decks?
We exclusively use premium, Australian-made penetrating timber oils. Unlike cheap film-forming stains or paints that peel and flake under Sydney’s harsh coastal sun, penetrating oil nourishes the wood from the inside out and makes future maintenance much easier.
Are there any hidden fees in your quotes?
No. We believe in 100% transparent pricing. The quote we provide after inspecting your deck is the final price. If we uncover severe hidden structural issues (like rotting bearers under the boards), we stop, show you exactly what’s going on, and discuss options before proceeding.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not at all. As long as our team has clear access to the deck and an outdoor water supply, we can get the job done while you’re at work. We keep the site clean and will send you updates and photos of our progress.
Do you travel outside the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore?
Yes. While we are based locally and do a lot of work across the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore, our team regularly travels to complete deck builds and restorations across all Sydney suburbs.
